I have over 25 years of experience, across a range of organisations and sectors including manufacturing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), logistics, not for profit and the public sector.
My background includes both experience as a specialist in Workplace and Industrial Relations, Leadership, Culture, Organisational Development & Change, and as a generalist HR Business Partner. I have worked extensively with executive teams across Western Australia, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
I have a diverse and useful toolkit; I am qualified in IECL Coaching, HBDI, Extended DISC, Prosci Change methodology and in both Lominger Leadership and Team Effectiveness. And if I don’t have the tools to help you, then I will know someone who can.
I have a weekly column in the Sunday Times called Human Nature where with Jaine Edge, I write about all things work related. I also regularly write for other industry magazines and blogs.
I am regularly asked to speak on leadership, workplace culture, flexibility and other people related matters.
I am energetic and innovative. I am business focused, pragmatic and have a ‘can do’ approach. I love working with businesses who want to make a difference, who want to change and improve and who want to see what’s truly possible.
Since 2011, I have been asked to judge the Telstra Business Womens’ Awards. I started judging the Telstra Business Awards in 2015.
I am also involved in a number of charities and mentoring progammes in WA and nationally. I am currently on the board of Bridging the Gap. Giving back when you can is an important part of what I believe in and who I am.
I am a mother to two beautiful little girls, a founding member of the Pets of Older Persons programme (POOPs WA) and a runner training for my first half marathon. I have travelled and lived all over the world, but am very happy to call Perth home. I love to write, and to read.. a lot! And I love good food.
If you would like to get in contact with me, you can send me a message.
